About Us |
Founded in June of 2006, Sine Nomine is proud to be a member of GALA Choruses, an international association of GLBTS choruses. We feel strongly that the GALA Mission of building changing our world through song aligns with our vision. We recently performed with the eight Colorado-based GALA Choruses at the association’s annual conference, and were thrilled to be part of a 433-member joint chorus. We made our official “GALA Debut” at Festival 8 in Miami this July. |
We are proud to be sponsored and hosted by the Board of Social Justice and Outreach and the Music Department of Park Hill Congregational United Church of Christ. PHCC provides us with rehearsal and performance space, and we participate in some of their worship and outreach services. |

Sine Nomine is an auditioned ensemble, founded in June of 2006. We seek to deliver a message through our music, and we strive for excellence in performance. Above all, we joined together for the pure joy of singing. |
We choose to limit our membership to 20 singers because that gives us the greatest flexibility to sing a wide variety of music and to develop a close-knit community. Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings at Park Hill UCC, at 2600 Leyden, in Denver. Auditions are held in July and January, or as openings require. (We are currently seeking bass, tenor 1, and soprano voices.) We welcome you into our community—if you are interested in joining our production or support staff, attending future concerts , or hosting us for an outreach event, please send us an email! |
