Leadership |
Sine Nomine is a community-run organization, with as little “structure” as possible. The following founding members of the group fulfill administrative and artistic functions as our “Leadership Council.” |
Robert Bartalot taught vocal music and English in Denver Public Schools for 28 years. He has served as the Assistant Conductor for Harmony: a Colorado chorale, as the Music Director for PHCUCC, and is currently the Music Director for the Northland Chorale. |
Sally Bartalot has taught piano and art students for more than 50 years. She has been a volunteer with Harmony: a Colorado chorale and served as Organist and Music Director for Park Hill Congregational UCC and for Temple Emmanuel. |
Rick Miller is a founding member of the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus and a founding member of Sine Nomine. He accompanies DGMC, Out Loud Men’s Chorus of Colorado Springs, and Sine Nomine. |
Peter Padilla has been singing with GALA choruses in Colorado since 1993, when he joined the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus and Harmony. He serves on the Steering Committee for Mosaic Youth Chorus and is a founding member of Sine Nomine. |
Gail Colbert joined Harmony in 2000, and has also sung with the Denver Women’s Chorus. She sat on the Harmony board of directors, and she is a founding member of Sine Nomine—the first meeting was held in her living room, and the music library is in her basement! |
