The chorus realized at the end of 2007 that we wanted to have a stunning look for the GALA Conference in Miami… something that was uniform, but which provided some opportunity to be unique (and would be flattering for any figure). We discovered a tremendous artist, Julie Rodriguez-Jones, and got excited about the idea of wearing choir stoles—something traditional, but with a more dramatic flair. Julie had several pieces of art that appealed to us, and we got her thinking... Julie’s original artwork, an image of an aurora and a painting reflective of Death Valley created a perfect backdrop for two looks—one uniform look with our name, and one vividly-colored look where each member could reflect his or her own choice. |

The stoles got rave reviews at the GALA Festival, and we’re speaking to Julie about a banner to display behind us in an upcoming concert. Julie was a joy to work with, and we highly recommend her… she is creative and works with great integrity (she re-designed the stole three times to accommodate technical limitations of the printer… please visit her website at www.artfromthesoul.com. |
